Comet ISON is making its way toward the sun. ISON is still reasonably healthy at its current state. Between November 2 and 15 Comet ISON should continue to brighten. There are observation reports that ISON is currently visible in 10×50 binoculars. — Oct. 31st

18/19 – Penumbral lunar eclipse (Saros 117) visible from the Americas (for the end), Europe, Africa, and most of Asia (the beginning of the eclipse will be visible in east Asia). It will last 239 minutes, from 21h51 to 01h50 UTC. Maximum eclipse will occur at 23h51 UTC.
24 – Comet ISON reaches in STEREO HI1-B field-of-view
